About me
There are people who at times struggle with recurring mental health over a long period of time. They may have frequent appointments to GP, psychiatric services, A&E and try various medications with little long lasting benefits. Each episode has an impact on work, relationships and self-esteem/confidence. These episodes may be linked to difficult childhood or early adulthood experiences that have not been worked through. It is very likely, that you will not have connected the episodes in your mind.
I can support you to explore the current episode and, through working through your history, help you to make connections with the thoughts, feelings that occur each time. Each person has their own personal history, level of resilience and input from service and therefore each person will take different amounts of time to work through this. For this reason, I offer sessions to suit the person. The amount of sessions will be discussed on the assessment and reviewed regularly.
I can also support people who are experiencing mental health for the first time due to current situations in their lives; bullying at work, breakup of a relationship, moving from secondary education to university or grief to name a few.
After a couple of assessment sessions, a decision would be made to offer supportive or psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I currently can only offer online sessions and work after 6pm weekdays. I can offer time slots during the weekend.
I have full insurance.
Please contact me either by text message or phone call to my mobile to arrange an appointment.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
