About me

If life is more diffiuclt for you than it should be, the chances are you are suffering with mental health difficulities.  This could be a new thing or been around for a number of years.  It could be impacting on one aspect or you life or impacting on all your decisions, relationships and work.

Sometimes medication can play a really helpful role but unlike human communication and emotional understanding, the benefits will be limited and symptoms will reoccur or sometimes persist at just a milder level.

I offer indivdual or group therapy. Indivdual sessions last 50 minutes and groups 90 minutes. I offer a place to come and discuss your understanding of why life is the way it is and offer you some reflections from a different perspective that can sometimes be helpful. A group experience offers 8 different refections and allows a sharing of emotional pain and confusion with peer support.

Memebers of groups only meet at group sessions and no outside contact is recommended ; including social media.  I find the space works better when only meeting for group sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been a qualified psychiatric nurse for over 25 years and worked in acute ward settings, community nursing and A&E offering assessments to psychiatric emergencies.

I completed 7 years training in group analysis and have been working in psychotherapy for over 9 years working with various degrees of trauma both individually and groups.

I am a qualified group analyst with the Institute of Group Analysis.
