About me

As an Integrative Counsellor I use Humanistic Counselling theories to help me offer an individual therapy experience tailored just for you and your needs.

One of the theories I trained in is Gestalt, Gestalt theory focuses on working creatively in the here and now. Focusing on issues that are happening in the present can be difficult to talk about, I would invite you to think about your issues from another perspective by working with creative tools. I use shells/objects to help you place the focus externally and then be able to map out issues. Once out in the open it can be easier to view and explore the issues, and discover new ways of seeing and coping with issues. This type of therapy is also useful when dealing with historic issues, or relationships with self or others.

Counselling is a very personal and unique experience, what you can expect from an initial session is a chance for you to talk about what you want and hope to get out of counselling. If you feel happy and want to continue with me, then I would ask if you would prefer counselling either on a short or long term basis, and if you would like sessions weekly or fortnightly.

Face to Face counselling

Telephone counselling
The experience differs from face to face, yet telephone counselling can be likened to having a good conversation without having to leave the home.

Online counselling
Secure digital chat through Zoom platform, can be beneficial if you live in a busy household. Or secure video calling also Zoom platform, this gives you the freedom to access therapy at a convenient time.

My calendar shows online and telephone counselling sessions that are currently available and could be available the next day.
