About me

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in the heart of Hinckley. As someone with a wealth of life experience, I understand that life can come with obstacles and problems along the way. These may come in the form of situational milestones such as exams or facing the ‘empty nest’ or other life events. Or perhaps in the form of a mental illness such as depression or anxiety. When in the midst of these crises it is often difficult to see beyond them, and they can become all-encompassing and have a negative impact on all aspects of life. I aim to provide you with the tools to help you to make sense of your situation and, step by step, empower you and enable you to see light at the end of the tunnel, as well as providing an empathic and unbiased ear.

I graduated from Leamington College with a foundation degree in CBT in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Merit). I have worked as a volunteer with Mind where I had experience working with those with a variety of mental health problems such as anxiety and depression as well as self-esteem issues and relationship difficulties. I have also worked as a telephone counsellor for a Leamington based charity.

I have an ACC certificate in couples and sex therapy, and understand that all relationships have their troughs and peaks, from the relatively new to those who have been together for decades. As a counsellor I provide a place for couples to voice their concerns to each other and learn to listen, compromise and understand each other anew.

In addition to individual and couples work, I also offer my services to young adults who can discuss their sometimes unique difficulties in an understanding and confidential context.

I offer a comfortable, safe, non-judgemental space in which to explore and talk through any issues you may be experiencing.

Please contact me for any further information you may require or to book a free initial assessment.
