Lopa Vibhakar, Systemic Couple & Adult Family Psychotherapist.
About me
I am a UKCP registered Specialist Couple & Family Psychotherapist with over 30 years experience including consultant psychotherapist positions in NHS Adult Mental Health services. Alongside my robust experience in working with couple and family relationships I offer specialist support and psychotherapy for:-
Perinatal clients and couple relationships
Postnatal clients and couple relationships
Adult mental health conditions such as depression or psychosis for couples and families
Individual, couple and family therapy for living with cancer
In this current unprecedented situation I am providing online Individual, Couple and Adult Family therapy.
I am mindful of how difficult it is for people to manage life in the current circumstances and how anxiety provoking life can be. I am also aware that the social reality of financial pressures, children and/or elderly parents/relatives can impact on individual wellbeing. When working with my clients I also help them to balance taking care of their own mental health alongside the care they provide for others.
I would be happy to speak to people who are serious about seeking help and support them in their journey of wellbeing.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
