About me

I started my counselling and psychotherapy training at the age of 16. I continued my training and completed a three year Master of Science in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I continually attend further training sessions that improve my skills and refresh my expertise. These include, but are not limited to, relationship counselling, couples counselling, sudden and traumatic death and mindfulness.

As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I am bound by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice and Professional Conduct Procedure. A copy of the both these documents can be found on the BACP website at

I am an integrative therapist which means I have been trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, and as such will be able to use the most appropriate approach for your needs at any one time. I work mainly with cognitive behavioural therapy, person-centred therapy and attachment therapy. Although I will often draw on many other approaches to ensure the best possible support.

I specialise in bereavement, pre-bereavement, bereavement of a pet, relationship problems, family counselling and couples counselling. I am trained in a variety of issues. This allows me to specialise but also address other issues that come along as well. These issues include, but are not limited to:
- Anger
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Trauma
- Stress
- Self-harm
