About me
Would you like to make meaningful changes? Are you seeking to understand the choices you make? Do you find yourself repeating unhelpful patterns of behaviour or feel stuck in your relationships or in your working life?
Life can be painful. Day to day living can feel dull, uncreative and disconnected. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of loneliness and anxiety or feeling overwhelmed and out of balance emotionally.
Therapy offers a safe, contained, confidential space where you will be listened to, and where we can explore and think together about your feelings and your situation. Distressing, hard to bear or uneasy feelings that you may currently be experiencing, may be traced back to early relationships. We will think with care about how your past informs your present, and what this might mean for moving forward into your future.
Therapy can be beneficial in a number of ways and may lead to better relationships, self confidence and increased self awareness. Therapy helps us to grow and to understand ourselves more fully and compassionately.
I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy and counselling, as long term open ended therapy and brief, time limited therapy (12 weeks).
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor. My 5 year training took place at WPF Therapy, where I obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Theory & Practice, validated by Roehampton University. I am licensed to work with adults.
I participate in continuing professional development, this enables me to offer you well informed care.
My work is regulated by the British Psychoanalytic Council and the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
