Liz Gleaves - Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dip. Couns, MBACP
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor working in Devizes and Chippenham. I provide counselling for adults of all ages and can offer both short term and long term therapy. I am trained integratively and holistically, which means I use a variety of different approaches and techniques depending on your individual need. I am intuitive and empathic and I work with both the body and the mind, as I believe they are interconnected.
There are often times in our lives when we need support and understanding, and a place to go to, where we can look at areas of our lives that we may be struggling with. This may be thoughts, behaviours, feelings or situations that are causing us distress in our everyday lives. It may be past traumas or a general feeling of being lost or disconnected from ourselves. Whatever you are experiencing I can offer you a warm, safe, confidential space, that is non-judgemental and we can work together to find new ways of coping or to come to a place of better understanding and clarity.
If you think that I may be able to help you, please email (email@example.com) or telephone me (07368843610) to arrange an initial 30 minute appointment, where we can meet each other to talk about what you would like to get from counselling, and you can decide if I am the right Counsellor for you. If you are happy to continue, I will book a second session and we will arrange to meet weekly.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
