About me

I am a fully qualified counsellor with over 10 years of experience helping people with various issues including anxiety, depression, feelings of sadness, trauma, abuse, ADHD, low confidence and self-esteem, loss, relationship problems and stress.

Do you find that you behaviours, responses and ways of being hold you back from living the life you want? Perhaps you are struggling with your mental health and finding life tough or challenging right now?

I provide online therapy using a combination of psychological and coaching techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and conflict management.

"I started seeing Lisa because things were just not working out in life. I was anxious, depressed and not sleeping. I couldn’t cope with anything; life was just too much. Lisa listened, gave me the space to talk, helped me to see things from a new perspective and gave me the tools I needed to actually live my life." Matt

I provide a safe, non-judgemental space for my clients where they can be themselves and speak their truth. A space in which we can discuss challenges, traumas, hopes and dreams, in fact anything at all. You can read more client testimonials further down the page.

I will support you as you make sustainable changes that will transform your life. Please contact me to start your journey. You can call or text me on 07957 122 032 or send me an email here.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I’ve struggled in life ever since I was a teenager. Lost, I used alcohol, drugs, food and self-harm as my coping mechanisms. She literally changed my life, and I can’t thank her enough for all she has done for me.
