Lisa Guilfoyle - MBACP PG Dip
I am located in the centre of Lichfield, and offer a warm, inviting and non-judgmental approach.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma from Keele University in Person Centred counselling psychology. I work with person centred core values and integrate this with other skills and Neuro education, in order to offer my clients the best support I can.
I offer support to anyone over the age of 16 and work with all presenting issues or concerns.
I worked in front line emergency services for 21 years and since retraining I have had the opportunity to work as a staff counsellor within the NHS for a year. I also offer group supervision to staff within two prisons.
Due to my extensive previous experiences, I have a particular interest in working with the unique issues that can be experienced by the staff, and their families, from these working environments.
Stress and anxiety that eminates from both home life and the workplace, is something that you can share with me in the knowledge that it is completely confidential.
I am an affiliate counsellor with the PFOA (Police Firearms Officers Association).
I am a member of BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association) and working towards BICA accreditation, As a specialist fertility counsellor, I am able to offer appropriate support to those going through fertility issues and fertility treatment. I offer these sessions in my private practice, and also within a fertility clinic.
Please feel free to get in touch with me should you want to discuss an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you.
