Lisa Fowler. Dip. Couns. Registered MBACP
Hello and thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Lisa, I'm a fully qualified Intergrative therapist based in the Towcester area, my background is working with young people in anxiety and panic and with adults in general practice. I know for many people entering into therapy can be a very big step, it can feel very difficult and sometimes frightening reaching out for help and support. I also recognise that the reasons for choosing to have counselling are very unique and personal to each individual and couple.
It may be that you feel that it would be helpful to see someone for a short time to speak about your concerns and feelings, other times it might be that there are issues that have come up for you that need a little more time to gain understanding and work on. Whatever your concerns are its my aim as a therapist to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment for you to explore what's been going on for you in a growthful and confidential space.
HOW I WORK
I am an Integrative therapist which means I am able to tailor my work around your individual needs and goals as they arise. Over the years I've worked with a variety of different issues, some of the more common ones being;
Generalised anxiety disorder
Significant life changes
I work with both adults, young people and children of 10 years and above. I work with individuals, couples and families.
No issue that causes a person to feel unsettled is trivial. If having read my profile you would like to discuss things further then call, text or drop me an email. We can talk about how we might move forward together.
Once we have spoken and you have decided you would like to meet, we can arrange a convenient time for you to come along to my practice for a consultation session. This sounds terribly formal, but really it is an opportunity for us to discuss how counselling/psychotherapy works, to understand your expectations and to agree together what the best next step would be.
I look forward to hearing from you.

WHERE I WORK.
I see clients in the small town of Towcester in a beautiful listed building that has been refurbished as a bespoke talking therapy centre. It has four private therapy rooms, one of which is specifically tailored to working with young people. There are a number of free car parks situated within a 5 minute walk of the property. Towcester is easily accessible from the larger areas of Northampton and Milton Keynes.
