About me

I work pluralistically, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our sessions to your individual needs. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I believe in being flexible and responsive. If something doesn’t feel quite right in our work together, we’ll explore other approaches that better support your comfort and progress.

I work with a range of issues including low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, identity struggles, and past trauma. Having worked extensively with young people, my approach begins with identifying the main issue they’re facing, how it’s currently impacting their life, and what they would like to change through counselling.

With children, I prefer to work face to face and use play therapy as a means of connecting with them and building a relationship. I use a wide range of creative activities which gives them freedom of exploration and expression.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Practice which allows me to work with both adults and children.

The last two years, I have worked in schools across Bedfordshire supporting young people with their mental health. I have a degree in early childhood development which has helped me to understand the link between children's mental health and wellbeing.

Previously I have worked in schools in a support/educator role where I first realised I wanted to support children with their mental health.
