I have been working as a therapeutic counsellor since 2012. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling Practitioners (BACP) and work within their ethical framework. This means that my work with clients is confidential and that I undertake to have regular supervision to maintain a high quality of care. I have extensive experience working with issues arising from depression, anxiety, addiction, family relationships, bereavement and loss.
During my early career as a nurse I found myself drawn to patient's experiencing challenging times as a result of their visit to hospital. I observed how even a small amount of support, just a few minutes sometimes, could reduce the patient's stress and anxiety and this stimulated my interest in becoming a counsellor.

I offer concessions for counselling students requiring therapy hours and some low cost counselling.
I work from my home in Lewes which is a 3 minute walk from the main line railway station and approximately 10 minutes from the bus station.
There is pay and display parking in the local football ground car park and some on street bays.
