About me

Hi, I'm Linda, and I am an experienced holistic, integrative and person specific
counsellor. I am able to draw from a wide range of psychological approaches and other related disciplines that help and support my clients work through their underlying issues and not just the symptoms they are experiencing.
I offer a safe and trusting environment where clients feel heard and valued and where they gain new insights that enable them to move beyond their limitations and reach positive and sustainable solutions.                                                        I believe this is what good mental health looks like.

I lead my own private practice in North Birmingham and also work for a
charity that offers help and support for those whose lives have been
affected by cancer.

I am a member of BACP and an associate member of Reach. My clinical work
is overseen and supervised by Reach and this helps me to ensure that I
provide a safe, sensitive and nurturing environment and that compassion
and kindness are at the heart of that process.

I offer help and support to adults, couples, children and adolescents to
help them overcome their feelings of fear, doubt, shame, or whatever
their life's difficulties are...

So, if you are looking for a fellow traveller who understands the
journey of self-awareness and recovery, then please feel free to contact
me.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

Fifteen years ago, I lost my twin brother to cancer, within a month I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I felt so overwhelmed... It was a dark time but eventually I went for counselling and in   time began to heal emotionally mentally and physically. I understand what it’s like to be sitting     on the other side. Just like you I have experienced challenges  and through counselling I learnt that there is another way...
