Liberty is a counselling service offering support to ladies and men who are experiencing a difficulty with pregnancy or babyloss. We offer free counselling sessions to ladies who are struggling to make a decision with an unplanned pregnancy, we do this by helping you to process your circumstances, thoughts and feelings. We understand this can be a difficult time when your feeling under pressure to make a quick decision, we offer a non judgemental, safe space to come aside and explore what your next step is - without pressure.
We offer compassion and counselling for ladies who are struggling with miscarriage and baby loss, this is a time when you can be free to talk about your experience, your loss and your baby with a qualified counsellor and try to move on through your grief to a place where you able to come to terms with your loss and move forward.
We offer counselling and support for ladies who have had a termination and feel they need some help to process their experience. Sometimes what you thought was going be a relief turns out to be another problem, you can find yourself full of grief, guilt and shame, we offer a confidential place where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and start to move forward.
You may have experienced the loss a number of years ago, its never too late to ask for help!
Are you struggling with post natal depression? Again we off a safe place where you can express how your feeling without being judged!
We also offer counselling for ladies who have experienced birth trauma, this can sometimes be confused with postnatal depression but they are different, sometimes after a traumatic birth you can experience PTSD, if your struggling in this area we can offer counselling and work safely with trauma.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
