Liat Kaye, MSEd, MSc, MBPsS
About me
There is no mental health challenge in this world too big to share with another trusted person; and therefore nothing in this world too big to heal. After healing, we can thrive.
My practice specialises in the resolution of trauma, as well as attachment and emotion difficulties. These includes anxiety, depression, relationship troubles and life stress.
My approach begins with an initial assessment. We will use this to build a road map for treatment together, which will give us a natural place to stop and check in with how you feel things are going.
Please do reach out if you would like to hear more about our process and approach at Talisman Practice.
I very much look forward to hearing from you.
Warm regards,
Liat
Training, qualifications & experience
Trained in the States, I have experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches to help address a broad range difficulties with emotions, relationships, and life challenges. I am also a Kundalini Yoga instructor, a birth doula and a suicide prevention counsellor--so my experience as a clinician really does run from birth to death.
I am presently working toward a PhD, with a specific focus on personality disorders, shame and attachment relationships.
Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
