About me

I am Liana Angeli, registered and accredited counsellor/therapist. I assist individuals with their emotional well-being. I have private sector experience as well as NHS clients referrals. My interest includes depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), panic attacks, relationship, self-esteem and stress as well as particular challenges encountered by men and women.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural/Integrative therapist {College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies and London Metropolitan University}. I have experience working privately and with NHS referrals, Talking Therapies.

I am also a fully qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher. I bring mindfulness and meditation techniques into my practice, when it’s suitable.

I use CBT for clients who would like short-term therapy. Cognitive Behavioural therapy focuses on how your thoughts affect your emotions and actions. It recognises and challenges unhelpful thoughts that perpetuate the issues you encounter. The aim is to experience healthier thoughts and feelings.

I also use Integrative counselling for more complex issues for those clients who'd like a longer term therapy. Integrative Counselling selects therapeutic approaches to suit your preference and the problems you encounter. It considers your personal experiences and choices. The aim is to help you advance your self-awareness.

If this resonates with you do not hesitate to contact me.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I am flexible and available to discuss times and days that would suit clients.
