Sometimes we all need somebody that we can talk to, to help us better understand ourselves and the issues that we may be facing. While family and friends are of great support, there are times when talking to an impartial person offers us the chance to fully explore what is really going on inside, without feeling we are burdening those that are close to us.
This is where talking to a counsellor can be the right support for your needs, where you are free to be open, safe in the knowledge that what is talked through is confidential and that you will not be judged. I offer you a caring and professional space to be able to do that.
As a qualified Integrative Counsellor, I will use a range of therapeutic techniques that ensure your sessions are tailored to your needs, so your sessions will be as individual as you are. I will listen and help you to explore what is worrying you. We will work together at your pace and explore the possibilities for change.
The therapeutic relationship is important to me, and I want you to feel heard and valued. I respect that you are the expert on your life, and I would like to be beside you and work with you while you explore your issues, offering you warmth and support, and developing the resources that you have within yourself to promote positive change.

Offering the best service is of great importance to me, therefore I offer a free initial telephone consultation should you require one, which allows us to discuss your needs.
I undertake training and development to ensure that my skills are up to date, and with full insurance and membership of the BACP, ensures that you have peace of mind about my ethical practice.
I am now incorporating Pet Bereavement into my practice, as being a lifelong animal lover, I know only too well the choices that sometimes have to be made, and the consequences of those decisions, leaving feelings of guilt and deep sadness and sometimes shock and disbelief.
When your pet is your only source of companionship and support, their loss can be devastating. Sadly, this is still sometimes unrecognised as bereavement, resulting in you not receiving the help you need, for various reasons.
Due to my own experiences, and not accessing the support that I needed, I am now able to offer this service to assist you in moving forward from your pain and loss.
