About me

I am a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor (MBACP) working in private practice in West London and online. I provide individual therapy for adults and have experience working with a diverse range of issues such as grief, loss, anxiety, health anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma and work-related stress.

My practice is person-centred, a humanistic approach to therapy which offers you freedom to explore your feelings, experiences and the issues important to you within an empathic and non-judgmental environment. Whatever brings you to therapy, we will work together at your pace within the therapeutic space to heal, better understand yourself and the issues troubling you with the aim of helping you feel more able to cope and move forward with your life. Having previously worked as a solicitor, I also have insight and understanding in relation to the impact work/professional pressure can have on individuals both psychologically and physically. I have also worked for charities supporting people who have experienced bereavement and those affected by long-term illness.

I am committed to providing an inclusive and anti-discriminatory practice. As a qualified counsellor/therapist and registered member of the BACP I adhere to their code of ethics and I am in regular accredited supervision.

In my private practice, I provide both short and longer-term support and offer 50-minute sessions in-person from the Greenhouse rooms in Chiswick (£65) or online (£50). I also offer a free 20-minute introductory consultation for us to meet to help you to decide if you would like to work together.

I will reply within 24 hours of receiving your email. If you think you haven't had a response, please do check your spam folder.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a diploma in person-centred psychotherapeutic counselling from the Metanoia Institute where I have studied for 4 years. During this time I have gained clinical experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds experiencing a broad range of personal difficulties and mental health issues.

I am currently working towards completion of a research based MSc in contemporary person-centred psychotherapy and applications at the Metanoia Institute, due to complete in June 2025.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
