Leonna Collins, Liberty Counselling
Welcome. My name is Leonna Collins and I am a Person-Centred counsellor based in West Lothian. I work from Beech House in Livingston & from my Home office in South Lanarkshire. Give me a call to discuss what times & location suit you best.
Deciding to start counselling may seem daunting at first. Many people are not even sure what counselling entails. First and foremost, counselling should be a safe place for you to explore any issues you wish to address. It can often help you see things more clearly and perhaps gain a different perspective. My aim is to offer you a caring, confidential & non-judgemental environment to facilitate this.
You may be struggling with a deeply personal issue such as anxiety or depression, low self esteem, bereavement, addictive behaviours, relationship difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anger management, abuse or self harm to mention but a few. If you are in any doubt over whether or not counselling may be of use to you, please feel free to contact me to discuss.
I have been working as a counsellor with West Lothian Drug and Alcohol Service since 2010 when I was a volunteer counsellor on placement. My role there is to provide counselling & support to anyone whose life has been impacted by substance use, whether their own or someone else's. I quickly found out that substance use is usually a symptom of complex underlying issues so I'm very used to helping people deal with many diverse life challenges.
