About me
At times life can be difficult and we all have times where we need some support....It can be hard to contact a professional in the first instance, so I try and make it is easy as possible to make you feel both comfortable and supported.
I am a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist and a registered mental health nurse. I have worked within mental health services in both the NHS and private sectors for over 15 years. I have experience of working within both adult services and child and adolescent services.
I have experience of working within many areas of mental health, offering CBT, EMDR and talking therapies and therefore am able to understand and offer support to individuals that are struggling with many different aspects of their lives.
I am able to offer assessments and therapy to children, adolescents and adults, who are suffering with mental health issues, from depression and anxiety to OCD and PTSD. I can offer support for a wide variety of issues and would be willing to discuss this with you via a telephone consultation, to determine whether i would be able to support you through whatever it is you are going through. I have close links with other services and healthcare professionals, which can be useful when working within mental health.
I also offer clinical supervision to healthcare professionals working within the mental health sector, where I am able to advise and support colleagues with their clients.
