Depression and Anxiety related disorders can hold you back in all areas of your life and can lead to feelings of hopelessness. Maybe your symptoms are new and you need early intervention, or maybe you have been trying to be strong for far too long and now your coping mechanisms/safety behaviours are causing you more long term suffering than short term relief. Either way, I bring empathy and experience in helping you to develop the skills required to beat this and take back control, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques. CBT is one of the most heavily researched forms of therapy for its effectiveness.
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with proven experience supporting people in a therapy and educational setting. Through a joint working approach, I am able to gradually empower, encourage and support clients to develop the necessary skills to solve their problems using their own resources. My therapy can provide people with specific skills, that they can go on to use for the rest of their lives.
