Leana Hughes HeadScape Therapy BSc Psych, MA Clinical Counselling
Feeling a bit stuck? Need to talk to someone who isn't a family member or a friend? I can offer you a safe and comfortable space to explore your inner world. By nurturing a trusting and non-judgmental relationship, we can together, make sense of your thoughts and feelings.
I mainly work in a Person-centered way. What this means is that we work with what you bring every week. I do not set an agenda. My belief is that you are the expert in your own life. It is my job to bare witness to your story and support you in a respectful, ethical and non judgmental way.
When you arrive for an initial session, we will explore what your goals might be and how we can work together towards meeting those needs. An initial session is paramount in order to 'get a feel' for one another and for you to be sure that I'm the right person for you. Doing the work is anchored by a secure working relationship!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries. When you leave a phone message, please specify whether I can phone you after hours, during business hours and whether I can leave a message on your phone. This is all to protect your confidentiality.
I look forward to hearing from you.
