About me

I am a registered Counsellor/Psychotherapist (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) with vast experience in clinical and forensic settings in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Currently, I am working in the Secondary Care Service within the NHS as a Counselling Psychologist (in-Training) while completing my Professional Doctorate at the University of East London. I use a pluralistic approach that draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, and Third Wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBCT/MBSR)). I strongly believe that every person is unique, and therefore every session is tailored to suit the client's needs, goals, and personality.

Coming from the field of banking after ten years as a finance manager, I can assure you that everyone, from time to time, needs a helping hand or a person to talk to, even the CFOs of the biggest banks of the world. Asking for help doesn't mean you are weak; it means you want to remain strong.

I will be listening to you in an open and non-judgemental way, and we will explore together any difficulty you are experiencing. Every session is confidential and lasts approximately 50 minutes. I conduct sessions in English and Greek.

Contact me for an informal chat or email me. Let's start your journey together.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
