Therapy is not always about feeling better initially, but a great deal about getting better at feeling. I can help my clients to work with their emotions by helping them to develop cognitive, emotional and behavioural strategies in a non-judgemental and empathic atmosphere. I am committed to helping my clients help themselves by exploring their psychological problems and empowering them to make changes for themselves.
I practice as a rational-emotive and cognitive behaviour therapist accredited with the BABCP and the Association for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. I am experienced in working with a wide range of emotional issues including depression, anxiety (including social, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder and phobias), low self-esteem, self-harm and eating disorders.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Rational-Emotive and Cognitive Behaviour therapy. I have experience from working in the private mental health sector for 9 years and the charity sector for the past 3 years. I have worked with corporate companies also. I have recognition with a small number of insurance companies.
In addition to these therapy models I have experience of working with individuals, using a combination of mindfulness techniques, to improve emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills.
British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists.
BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

Limited in-person treatment offered and on Tuesdays only at present. I work remotely on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, mainly only evenings.
