Lauren Poole (MBACP), LP Therapeutic Counselling.
About me
Due to Covid-19. currently only offering telephone and video counselling.
Hello, I am a Integrative Counsellor offering one to one therapy. This includes face to face, telephone and online appointments. I use different or combined approaches in order to suit your needs. I provide a safe and open space to talk and work through the worries or difficulties you are experiencing.
Life is tough at times, it might even feel tough all the time! This can lead to feeling overwhelmed and unable to enjoy life. Maybe you feel anxious, lonely, angry or depressed? This may be affecting your relationships, work, social life or just life in general.
Therapy offers the chance to talk to someone about your struggles, someone who will listen and not judge you. Counselling is an opportunity to help find the answers and resolutions that you need to move forward in life. It can also help build your confidence and emotional resilience so that you feel able to cope better.
I offer short and long term counselling. Usually a therapy session is once a week for 50 minutes however, we can discuss what is appropriate in line with your circumstances and what seems beneficial for you.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with enquiries.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
