Zoe Le Pelley - Laurel Tree Counselling Service
Laurel Tree Counselling Services in Guernsey. My Name is Zoe Le Pelley and I am a Qualified Person Centred Counsellor, Trainer and Supervisor. I have over 14 years of client work experience. My consulting room is located in St Peter Port at my home which offers a confidential and safe space for you to talk.
I have just launched Walking Therapy which is new and exclusive to Guernsey...
Guernsey has stunning public paths and parks which are perfect for Walking Therapy. Laurel Tree Counselling Service has specific routes mapped out and designed for all levels of fitness. Some people may become anxious when confronting something difficult in a traditional seated, face-to-face interaction, walking in parallel with visual distractions can allow for easier engagement."Clients who try walk-and-talk therapy often have very dramatic shifts in their thinking about stresses in their lives."
Walking also has proven health benefits, walking strengthens your heart, helps prevent and control blood pressure and gives you more energy.
Walking and talking with a trained counsellor can help you to focus in on the areas of your life you may be finding difficult.
I also offer Supervision to organisations, individuals and groups; Supervision is considered to be an essential part of good professional practice by a range of different professional bodies. The purpose of supervision is to provide a safe and confidential environment for you to reflect and discuss your work and personal and professional responses to your work.

Please get in contact regarding my fees, I offer a free 30-minute consultation to see if we can work together and help you to feel better about yourself and life.
Counselling can provide a safe space for you to explore and talk through difficult feelings; it will also enable you to find your own understandings into your problems.
Counselling can help you:
Cope with a bereavement or any other kind of loss
Deal with feelings of depression or sadness
Deal with feelings of anxiety
To understand yourself and your problems in a clearer way
Help you to feel more confident
Counselling can often involve talking about painful feelings and, as you begin to face them, you may feel worse in some ways ….it is ok to feel this… with the help and support you should gradually start to feel better. Counselling can also help you understand yourself and the way you think, which will ultimately help you develop a clearer understanding of your problems. The more armed with information you are, the easier it gradually becomes to navigate your way through any difficulties you are facing so that eventually you can come out the other side feeling more positive.
