About me

Are you considering therapy in the hope of something better ? Life might be feeling like a real struggle now or maybe has for a while?

You may be experiencing difficult feelings like anxiety, a lack of interest or motivation, along with challenges in your intimate relationships or at work?

Whatever it is that had brought you here, I can understand it can be a big step and often feel daunting. However, given the right conditions we can all tap into our true potential and make those changes.

My approach to counselling is to create a warm, safe environment in which you feel empowered to find your own solutions. Applying the skills and tools I have learnt from my training and own life experiences, I have found that often the most powerful tool is simply for a person to feel heard, accepted and valued. What we discuss in the sessions is down to you. They are your sessions and I will work at a pace that suits you.

I understand that counselling can be a big step for anyone and to feel comfortable with your counsellor is very important. Therefore, I offer a free 15 minute consultation via telephone to answer any questions you may have about counselling and for you to decide if I’m the counsellor for you.

Do not hesitate in contacting for further enquiries.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
