About me

Whether you are feeling stuck, experiencing distress or have the sense that you could be getting more from life, therapy can provide the space you need.

My aim is to help you make changes in your way of being, in relation to yourself, others and your wider world. I offer a welcoming and reflective space where you can feel at ease to explore all aspects of your life. A place where you can be heard and understood without judgement. An opportunity to pause, take a breath and try to make sense of how it is you got here. A chance to explore possibilities for the future, grow your inner resources and make sustainable and tangible positive change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I have two years of one to one counselling experience as well as one year online counselling experience.

My background is in 12 years of education which includes vast experience with young people and the SEN sector.

I am trained as a Mental Health First Aider and I have also completed various CPD based around trauma.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
