About me

It is not unusual to find oneself facing a difficult time and in need of support and understanding. Whether it is a specific life event, an accumulation of stress or a general sense of being stuck and repeating the same cycle, psychotherapy helps to make sense of things.

Depression, anxiety, panic attacks, loss of meaning, feelings of loneliness and isolation, problems in relationships and understanding one's own behaviour are just some of the difficulties for which people seek psychotherapy.

I work with individuals by bringing to light what is underlying their symptoms and distress in order to promote understanding and change.

The work takes place within a safe and accepting therapeutic environment in which the individual is free to express whatever is on their mind and explore their thoughts, feelings and assumptions.

In addition to my private practice, I work in the NHS where I have been an honorary psychotherapist since 2013, seeing patients for psychotherapy and assessment.

Getting started

I recommend an initial consultation in which we think together about what you need and what would be most helpful to you going forward.

I offer short-term, long-term and open-ended therapeutic work, depending on what is needed.

Please feel free to get in touch for an initial consultation.
