I offer a professional, flexible and compassionate counselling service for clients, providing one-to-one short and long term therapeutic contact dealing with many issues including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, addictions, self-esteem, abuse, bereavement and identity issues including trauma work using EMDR therapy.
I am a person-centred counsellor trained at Masters Level. I also offer CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and integrative counselling. I have extensive professional experience (14 years plus) in a wide variety of settings and currently work as a therapist in an NHS service as well as offering private appointments. I tailor counselling sessions to suit individual needs in a supportive, safe and warm environment.
I am trained in EMDR and Counselling for Depression (CfD).
I am trained in Mindfulness MBSR and MBCT and also offer Mindfulness based techniques within sessions.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
