Laura Greene MBACP, DIP COUNS, B.A (Hons)
I am an experienced therapist with over 12 years of experience in helping people to overcome difficulties. I am currently working online and over the phone so can be flexible with timings and offer sessions to adults, couples and adolescents (secondary school age).
My approach to therapy is warm, supportive and non- judgemental, where I aim to build a really supportive relationship, that promotes open self-exploration, or development, at your pace. I work in a way to accommodate what you need from a therapist, for example, you may be looking for a supportive, safe relationship, to explore past experiences or process trauma, to finally be free of the past, or you may be looking for positive direction, or coping strategies or you may not yet know. I can help you identify areas that need change, or help you to find the strength to move towards the life you would like to live, by overcoming blocks or fears. I will help you to make the changes you want to lead a more fulfilling life, whatever that means to you.
I specialise in working with anxiety, relationship issues, anger and confidence. However, I have trained in various areas. Please contact me to see how I can help your specific needs.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
