About me

Hello, I'm Laura, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. Reaching out for help can feel daunting, but you don’t have to face your difficulties alone. Together, we'll explore what’s keeping you stuck and use practical, empowering skills to help you feel more in control. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, social anxiety, PTSD, health anxiety, and eating disorders. I also specialize in working with neurodiverse individuals, including those with autism and ADHD.

My approach is grounded in CBT, however, I draw upon theory and skills in compassion-focused therapy, and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and I strive to adapt my approach to your unique needs. I'm here to walk alongside you in this process, offering the tools and compassion you need to overcome your difficulties.

My aim is to create a space where you feel truly heard and supported, free from judgment. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping your difficulties going and find meaningful ways to challenge those patterns. We'll work together, step by step, to try out new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving—helping you move toward long lasting change you’re seeking.

I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety whether that be OCD, social anxiety, GAD or PTSD. I also offer work relating to understanding ADHD and autism. We will work together to overcome these difficulties and build toward living a life in line with your values.
