About me

I have two practices that I work from. One in Harley Street London and one in Cirencester in The Cotswolds.

I have Psychotherapy and Counselling practices and I am also an Executive Business Coach as well as a Therapeutic Coach.

Both practices work with INDIVIDUALS and COUPLES. Please click on the practice you would like to work with;

Therapy comes in all different shapes and forms and I believe the mode of therapy should fit the client or clients, we are all individuals after all. This applies whether you are looking for Psychotherapy, Counselling or Coaching.

I practice Integrative Therapy which means I draw on theory from Psychodynamic, Psychoanalytic and Person Centred schools working with individuals and couples.

Coaching is using the models taught at Henley Business School where I am currently studying for an Msc and applies to Executive or Therapeutic Coaching.

I also have an interest in Jungian and Gestalt theories as well as Positive Psychology and am continually looking at new teachings to find the best way to work with and help my clients. This might be through art, drawing, music or experiential exercise and perhaps mindfulness and meditation.

Sometimes all a client needs is someone just to really listen to them and to accept what they are saying in a non judgemental way, giving them the space to get to know themselves completely.

Therapy is normally conducted with weekly sessions, at a time which is convenient to the client, where they can commit to the number of sessions that are needed to affect change.

Therapy can be short or long term. This is decided after an initial hour-long assessment and when the work commences by looking at and constructing a plan and contract and by continually examining the work as it progresses.

I put you, the client or clients, at the centre of the work and believe that together we can work collaboratively to help you manage your life more happily and successfully.

I work with individuals and couples as well as organisations as an Executive Business Coach and Therapeutic Coach.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
