Laura Clifford-Jones MBACP, Dip. Couns, Dip CBT, Cert. Coun. YP & NLP
Sometimes we suffer anxiety, emotional pain & negative thoughts ‘is there something wrong with me’ as we can’t seem to get others to understand us, and we don’t know why? You might even think and feel ‘I just don’t fit in’ you wish you knew why so you can change it. At times we all feel it's all my fault' when you know this not to be true, this can cause anxiety and doubt ourselves. You may want to be more assertive and respectful to yourself within a relationship or at work. When trying to fall asleep you just keep replaying those awkward moments over and over again “What if I’d said… or did…it would all be better, will they accept me?"
I tailor your therapy to meet your individual needs, allowing us to work together putting you first, by learning how to understand who you are, who you want to be and bringing the real you out. This can sometimes also make you feel anxious, scared, and question if you can really do this and be this person? With the right support and knowledge, you can.
I can help you to adapt & adjust to the life situation you are facing, through a confidential, non-judgemental space, enabling you to talk freely & openly, reflecting upon, the past, present and your future needs. I work in person, online and by telephone which gives flexibility and availability.
You are welcome to book a 30-min initial free no-obligation telephone or in-person consultation - 07496 741450 or firstname.lastname@example.org
I offer in-person, online & telephone sessions - the benefit of online or telephone is that you can be comfortable in your own home, no travel and at a time that suits you, you can even wear your comfy clothes and have a cuppa with you, whereas in-person you have connectivity and your own personal time/space just for you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
