Dr Kyriaki Monastiropoulou, Counselling Psychologist
About me
My vision is to enable people of all ages and their loved ones to create fulfilling and meaningful lives by providing a reflective practice and engaging in any task that is ethically and client oriented. With this in mind, I create a safe place where you can talk about your experiences, your emotions, your thoughts and your beliefs. If you are interested, please contact me on the above information. I offer the initial assessment free of charge.
I have been working in the NHS and independent organizations since 2009 offering individual and group therapy to people of all ages experiencing various psychological difficulties such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, high self-criticism, interpersonal difficulties, bereavement, psychosis etc.
I work in an integrative and very relational way and my approach is individually tailored to help you make sense of your experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. I incorporate breathing and visualization techniques in order to access your subconscious mind and make changes that are long lasting.
During the assessment, we will talk about your experiences and upon completion of the assessment, we will think together if therapy is the appropriate way to more forward. The first session will take place via Skype or Zoom. Any subsequent sessions will be offered either online or face-to-face (please see below for more information on fees).
