About me

Do you want to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and create a life worth living for?

My name is Kyriaki and I work as a Counselling Psychologist offering therapy to people who want to understand themselves and are willing to look deep within and explore their potential in order to create a life and relationships that they love.

I work in an integrative and very relational way and my approach is individually tailored to help you make sense of your experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. I incorporate breathing and visualization techniques in order to access your subconscious mind and make changes that are long lasting.

I offer the initial assessment free of charge as it's our opportunity to see if we can work together. On completion of the assessment, we will think together if therapy is the appropriate way to more forward. The sessions last 50 mins and they can take place either face-to-face or via Skype or Zoom (please see below for more information on fees).

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been working in the NHS and independent organizations since 2009. I have offered individual and group therapy both short-term and long-term to children, adolescents, and working adults who suffered from high levels of shame, depression, anxieties, chronic pain, grief, relationship difficulties, trauma, stress, psychosis etc.

I have been trained to use Psychodynamic theories and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but throughout my career I have also received training on other approaches such as Family Intervention for psychosis (FIP), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness.

At the moment, I am training on transformation breath which is a powerful therapeutic intervention to transform your life.
