Hello and welcome to my profile. I'm Kulbir, a qualified therapist and clinical supervisor offering a warm, confidential space for you to explore how you are feeling.
At the heart of my work with you is the relationship that I build with you. I am integrative in my approach which means our work together can take many directions and will be tailored to meet your individual needs. We can work together for a few sessions or on a longer term basis depending on your needs.
Having experienced personal counselling myself some years ago I believe that it can make a difference and I can support you to gain insight into what you are experiencing. To offer hope and enable you to change habits, build self-esteem and allow you to start to heal. I do not judge but will offer insights to support you towards feeling better. I will work alongside you to enable you to make new choices and change old behaviours.
I work with clients suffering from the stress, grief, anxiety and depression and with those who have suffered abuse or are living with loss. I have also supported people with low self-esteem and those that have experienced trauma in childhood or as adults.
I believe that when we are able to explore our feelings and recognise where they come from, how they affect our behaviour and outlook we can better understand ourselves. It is possible to regain and build self-esteem leading to better mental health and well being.
If you have any questions, please do get in touch and I will be happy to help.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
