Hello and Welcome to my profile
I am a qualified therapist offering a warm, confidential space for you to explore how you are feeling. At the heart of my work with you is the relationship that I build with you. I am integrative in my approach which means our work together can take many directions and will be tailored to meet your individual needs. We can work together for a few sessions or on a longer term basis depending on your needs.
Having experienced personal counselling myself I believe that it can make a difference and I can support you to gain insight into what you are experiencing. To offer hope and enable you to change habits, build self-esteem and allow you to start to heal. I do not judge but will offer insights to support you towards feeling better. I will work alongside you to enable you to make new choices and change old behaviours.
I work with clients suffering from the stress, grief, anxiety and depression and with those who have suffered abuse or are living with loss. I have also supported people with low self-esteem and those that have experienced trauma in childhood or as adults.
I believe that when we are able to explore our feelings and recognise where they come from, how they affect our behaviour and outlook we can better understand ourselves. It is possible to regain and build self-esteem leading to better mental health and well being.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
