Krystyna Slosarska PG Dip , Registered Member MBACP
Hello my name is Krystyna and I am a qualified counsellor in South Lakeland.
I offer compassion, common sense and life experience together with my professional training and experience. I provide counselling in a confidential, warm and non-judgmental environment.
Counselling is an opportunity for you to explore whatever it is you are struggling with in your life, whether it is something from your past or from the present. This can be done by talking about emotions and thoughts you may have not have been able to express before. Sometimes people find their feelings very difficult to face, and counselling can help you to look at these. It can also be about helping you to discover who you are and what you want.
I will take time to find out how we can best work together, and how you are most comfortable expressing yourself. I offer short and long term counselling.I work from rooms in Staveley, a village just outside Kendal.
I will offer ways of working with you which will help you gain more understanding of why you have the feelings and thoughts that you do. Many of us find that they already have lots of people in their life telling them how and who they should be. Instead, you and I will work together to help you understand and develop your own solutions, insights and awareness into what is happening in your life. We will work together to do this in a private and confidential setting.
Whatever you bring to me you will be received with warmth, without judgement and with honesty. You can be assured that I work in a professional and ethical manner and abide by the Code of Practice and standards set by my professional body, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
