About me
Hi. My name is Krupali (she/her) and I am a cognitive behaviour therapist.
In life we can all arrive at junctures where we are struggling within ourselves or are experiencing challenging situations externally. From my own lived experiences and that of supporting people with challenges, difficulties and a sense of feeling lost in life – it can be meaningful to find a safe space to explore and reflect on this. This is where the journey of therapy can be life changing.
I will provide you with a space that is safe, welcoming and containing. We can venture on a journey together that is nonjudgemental, accepting and a confidential space. With the hope of allowing, you to explore your difficulties and challenges with the hope of finding new insights, increased awareness that can be translated into different ways of experiencing yourself, others and the world.
Training, qualifications & experience
My approach is grounded in my training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy that allows you to manage your difficulties by exploring your how you think and behave. Also to help you understand how you are feeling as a result and looking at how you can make changes in the way you view yourself, others and the world.
I have worked within the mental health sector within the NHS for over 12 years in a range of mental health specialities and sub specialities as a mental health professional. I have supported people in within the NHS and the private sector with a range of psychological difficulties, mental health issues and coping with numerous challenges that one experiences in day-to-day life. Of that I have been a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist for over 6 years. My area of expertise and interest is to provide support to people with low self-esteem, perfectionism and intolerance of uncertainty.
For the past 5 years I have worked within the NHS sub speciality – perinatal services. I am particularly interested in supporting women that are pregnant or are in the post-partum period in improving their wellbeing, strengthening their bond with unborn child/infant and adjusting to motherhood during such a vulnerable and sensitive period of their life.
