About me
QUEER & & TRANS FRIENDLY THERAPIST
Hi, my name is Kosma, I'm 29, and I've been a qualified Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) therapist since 2022. As a CBT therapist, my work focuses on finding ways to lighten the load of existence. If you're here, I can only assume that's what you're looking for. This work is my calling, and I want to help you with that.
So far I have 350+ client hours under my belt. I have experience in working with various issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, OCD, anger management, abusive or strained relationships, work & school stress, sexual abuse, and self-harm. I've also worked with people who are not quite sure what's wrong, who've felt like their problems are not "severe enough" to get therapy, or who simply wanted a space to talk. Come as you are! If you feel like there's a problem you want to talk over with someone, you deserve a space that allows that.
My style of therapy is very collaborative. I believe good therapy is something that we build together, I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. The guiding principle of my approach is that you are the expert in the room. I want to ensure that what we're doing together is happening on your terms, at your pace. I want you to feel safe to share doubt and apprehension about therapy or the ideas I bring forward. The space you get with me exists for YOU. If you're not finding it a safe, comfortable place to come to, I believe it should be addressed.
I hope that you find the therapeutic relationship that you deserve and thank you for considering me.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
