About me

Hello and welcome, my name is Kirsty I’m an integrative therapist with several years’ experience working in a professional and person-centred approach. My therapy is calm and really allows for a good empathic approach within the room. My approach is a way of helping an individual to work on certain areas of their everyday life or past or present issues, this way we can work together in a safe space without feeling pressurised. Counselling can be quite an overwhelming experience with a good trusting therapist relationship we can work together to ensure you feel comfortable to explore your thoughts, feelings, fears, and life goals.

Training, qualifications & experience

I currently hold a diploma in integrative counselling skills which has allowed me to work with a Variety of different people. I’m currently working towards my BA hons in counselling and psychology which has really deepened my ability to help a lot of individuals. I work mainly person centred and this gives my clients control of the session and allows for a calming tranquillity of energy within the therapy room.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
