About me
I support young people and adults struggling with anxiety, low mood, emotional or behavioural challenges. My expertise extends to working with issues such as depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. As a neurodiversity-affirming practitioner, I have specialised training and experience in assisting neurodivergent individuals.
I know that the world of counselling can be filled with different approaches and confusing jargon. My aim is to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible for you. I utilise an integrative approach, which means that I draw from various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person-Centred therapy and Systemic therapy. What this means for you is that we will work together to find the best approach that suits your individual needs and goals. By incorporating different techniques, I can help you explore and understand your emotions, develop coping skills, and navigate life's challenges in a way that feels comfortable and effective for you.
Counselling isn't about providing quick fixes; it's a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Through personalised sessions, I will guide you in harnessing your strengths, developing coping strategies, and fostering a positive mindset that will serve you during and beyond our work together.
Whatever challenges you are facing right now, I admire you for taking the first steps to find the right support. Your courage and self-awareness is a great strength.
Thank you for taking the time to read this brief information about me. I work from a dedicated counselling room on Regent Place in Rugby, I also offer online counselling. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you feel I can help and support you on your journey and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
