Kirsty Hutchinson BA (Hons), Dip.Couns (Accred), MBACP
I am an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, registered with the BACP. I currently work in education, private practice and for a charity funded organisation. I also have many years of experience working with young adults.
I am a relational counsellor with a strong belief in the process of therapy. I work in a person-centred manner but am trained in a number of different models, including Transactional Analysis and Counselling for Depression. I have experience working with a range of issues including, anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement and loss. I tailor my counselling approach to suit the needs of the individual.
I believe I have a warm and approachable nature, and as a counsellor I strive to be encouraging and supportive to all of my clients. My core belief is that the relationship can aid recovery as much as the therapy itself.
Counselling can help you to process and manage difficult times and feelings, as deep and as far as you want to. It can help to find a way out of your lowest points and develop confidence in facing challenges and experiences.
Please feel free to contact me to arrange a time to explore how counselling may be able to help you or if you would like any further information.
