Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a Qualified Counsellor and member of the BACP.
The first step of going to see a Counsellor can be daunting and this is understandable so before we meet we can have a brief telephone conversation and to organise a suitable time for you to come and see me or if you prefer can do this via email.
In the first session we will be discussing your reasons for seeking counselling and I can give you information on how the sessions will work and you can decide if you wish to continue.
I offer one-one sessions, both short and long term therapy work. I welcome a diverse range of clients and I am respectful of all cultures, backgrounds, age, gender or disability.
My approach is providing you with a safe, confidential, warm, caring and supportive environment where you will have the space and opportunity to explore and reflect on what ever is on your mind without feeling judged. I aim at building our therapeutic relationship and together working on helping you to manage, cope and deal with your symptoms and difficulties better. I work in a person-centered way so you will be the heart of the counselling process.
I also offer telephone counselling if that is something more suitable for you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
