Kimberley Rowland BSc(Hns) MBACP Integrative Therapist & Clinical Supervisor
About me
Are you feeling a need for change but not sure where to start?
Do you feel lost, isolated and alone?
Are there times when things feel overwhelming?
Do you feel like you want to change some of the feelings that you have?
I am a passionate and driven integrative counsellor, clinical supervisor and trainer. I work collaboratively with my clients to ensure that together we achieve whatever you are looking for.
Integrative Counsellor simply means that I have knowledge of a number of different counselling theories, techniques and ideas. I bring these to our sessions and work with you to find which one works for you, fitting theory to you, rather than trying to make you fit the theory. This means that you receive a tailored support and service, specific and adaptable to your needs. We can explore this together to find an approach that works for you. Some of these approaches include: Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Theory, Transactional Analysis, Solution Focus Brief Therapy, Personal Construct Theory and Neuro-linguistic Programming. I am also interested in Trauma Focussed CBT, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Logotherapy, Gestalt, Narrative Therapy and more. I will work with you collaboratively, utilising the above skills and knowledge to weave a therapeutic process together that is entirely tailored to you and your needs to get the best results for you!
My counselling space offers a safe, secure setting in which you can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and begin to look at what you want to keep and what you may like to change. I provide a non-judgemental, uplifting and empowering environment from which you can flourish, develop and grow personally and professionally.
I am truly passionate about the work that I do and ensuring that my clients achieve their potential. I will work with you, as an individual, or as a couple, utilising my skills to ensure that the service is tailored to your specific needs and requirements. Counselling is a fluid process and it's important that you are in control of how your counselling progresses, I work closely with my clients to ensure that they are empowered and able to use the new skills learned, in their everyday lives. I provide one to one sessions to ensure that the service can be unique to you.
For counselling to be most effective, you need to be 100% comfortable with your counsellor so take your time, choose the person who feels right for you! I offer a free over the phone discussion so that you have the opportunity to have any questions that you may have and check out if I am the right counsellor for you. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
