Glasgow based Counsellor

About me

I am a client-centred counsellor with more than 15 years experience.  My counselling practice is based in the Westend of Glasgow where I provide face to face appointments, but I can also work with you via phone or video calls where my flexible hours can accommodate your schedule.

My non-directive and client-centred approach provides a comfortable, relaxed environment of unconditional acceptance where you can freely express yourself in a safe therapeutic space. Together we can discuss your therapeutic goals and address your individual needs to decide how we will work together. I also provide the option for walk and talk sessions, as well as weekly creative workshops for small groups to enhance wellbeing.

My fees are £50 per session and concessions are available depending on personal circumstances. I am currently offering everyone a *TEMPORARY REDUCED RATE*  £35 per session.

You can contact me via email for any further information. I offer a free 15 min phone consultation for you to get a feel of how we could work together. You can click on the 'book intro call' button to select a time slot that suits you. I look forward to hearing from you. You can also reach me by clicking the email button above if you have any further queries. I reply to all emails within 24 hours.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
