About me

I offer a warm and supportive space to help people explore the difficulties they are facing in life. Each person brings with them their own unique ways of working and my job is finding the curiosity and compassion in how to address critical issues or cycling, repetitive problems. I offer tools, skills and attitudes which can help us to bring more awareness to the background dreaming or the unconscious which can drive us into tricky situations.  The process of transformation can be a magical journey, building on trust, intuition and exploring background processes, we can work through even the most impossible issues. I love working with people and my job as therapist is to guide and support such background forces into consciousness so that they may become more useful and productive in your life. The client's communication style, culture and values have an important place in the work. At times, a session can look like a quiet chat, or deeply felt meditation at other times we can explore through conflict resolution, role play, movement work or art work.
My work with children and young people takes place at the Wellspring centre for psychotherapy in Edinburgh (EH6) which offers a safe and welcoming space for children, young people, parents and carers. The centre has an art room and play room with art and craft materials, games and toys which offer a medium for children and young people to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences to reach new understandings and sense of their unique selves.
