Difficulties I can help you with:
I offer counselling and psychotherapy therapy to assist people to deal with a wide range of emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, panic, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, problems at work, bereavement, and much more.
Therapies I specialise in:
Person-centered counselling is an evidence-based therapy that offers people with mild to moderate therapy needs. It allows a person to discover the imbalance of their lives that is causing anxiety and/or depression and helps them realise new ways of dealing with their situation. Offering different approaches, you can allow your counselling sessions to feel structured or non-directive.
How I work with you:
I offer a mixture of counselling, Hypnotherapy and coaching to help you design your own future & create the life you want to live.
Coaching can empower you to develop a vision, change the way you perceive things and allow you to move forward.
Guided meditation can be used to bypass your conscious mind and support you to offload heavy baggage.
Using art and creative skills, we can also look at what underlying issues or there for you, this allows us to tell your story using limited speech.
Using relaxation techniques can benefit you and allow your body to relax and release unwanted tension.
Sessions are held weekly on a one-to-one basis that is 50 minutes long in our comfortable, safe and easily accessible counselling room.
After our first session, together we can develop a shared understanding of your difficulties and the factors that influence them. We can then agree on an approach tailored to your needs and preferences.
