Clinical Psychologist (HCPC Registered) DClinPsy

About me

I'm a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health & Care Professional Council (HCPC), with over 10 years of experience working in Adult Mental Health across the NHS and private sector. I'm based in London and Hertfordshire (Hertford) and have immediate availability for online private therapy.

In our work together, I can offer a safe therapeutic space where you can begin to develop a better understanding of yourself, your relationship patterns, and your internal struggles. With this insight comes an opportunity to make conscious changes and to move forward in life, in a way that feels meaningful and fulfilling.

Why Seek Therapy?

Life's not always easy and there may be times when we need additional help. On the surface, you might appear to be doing well, but internally you may struggle with painful emotions, you feel exhausted, you think about the past and find it hard to move forward in life.

People seek therapy for a variety of reasons, and I have supported adults with issues including complex trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, stress, feeling empty, issues with identity and low self-esteem. Sometimes however, I realise that it can be hard to pinpoint what's contributing towards your emotional pain and distress. You might be feeling stuck in unhelpful behaviours or relationships, or feel that things generally are not going the way you expected in life. Therapy can offer a great opportunity to make meaningful changes that can improve your wellbeing, sense of self, relationships and satisfaction in life.

My Therapeutic Approach

I use an integrative approach in my work, drawing upon a range of evidence-based therapeutic models (including Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Psychodynamic, Mindfulness and Systemic Therapies). I have a particular interest in Attachment-Based Therapies, and I'm dedicated to being collaborative, compassionate and non-judgemental. I am respectful of differences and committed to providing therapy that is culturally sensitive.

Therapy is a collaborative journey between therapist and client and I believe that this therapeutic relationship is a fundamental aspect of therapy. It is important to find the right therapist for you and therefore I offer a free, no obligation 15 minute telephone consultation to start thinking about your specific concerns and to begin to explore whether I may be able to support you.

I look forward to hearing from you.
