Kerry Maystone MSc Integrative Psychotherapy, UKCP Accredited
Do you feel...
...overwhelmed by the challenges of your present life
...troubled by painful past experiences
...or unsure of your future direction?
You might find it helpful to talk to someone outside your normal circle of friends or family. Therapy provides a confidential setting where you can talk to a trained, experienced professional. I can help you explore issues around anxiety, depression, loss and anger.
Through our counselling or psychotherapy sessions I will support your experience of yourself. I will offer you insights or interpretations that increase your understanding of yourself, and increase your awareness of how your past influences you and how it affects the difficulties you are experiencing.
Counselling and psychotherapy allow you an opportunity to take charge of your life, and make changes for the better - better relationships ; increased self confidence ; freedom from addiction and anger management. Through counselling and psychotherapy you can learn to pay attention to your thoughts in a conscious and curious way; choosing to let go of critical and unhelpful thoughts. You will become more aware of your actions and what motivates you, and this stops you repeatedly doing things that don't work for you.
