About me

Many of my clients tell me that I am not a 'therapy therapist' and that I provide a relaxed, human and real approach to improving their mental wellbeing. It is definitely not uncommon for there to be a bit of laughter in our sessions. If this sounds like it might suit you then please feel free to get in contact.

I never set out to work with a specific kind of person, however, around 70% of my clients tend to be women aged between twenty-five and fifty years old. They worry, feel stressed and not good enough. They often avoid going out and find themselves saying 'what if' all the time having lost the zest for life without any knowledge of why! It might be triggered by past traumatic events, the challenges of juggling life, family or work. These feelings might be a new, unexplained experience or they could have been around for decades. Does this sound like you? Even if this doesn't, you may be like the other 30% of people I work with, and you matter too!

Whoever you are, no matter what you are going through, I will provide you with the time and space to talk about you, help you to understand how and why your difficulties began and more importantly, why they continue. I will support you in working towards achieving your goals to create the future that you deserve. We work as a team, you know yourself better than anybody and I know just how to help you. Just one call or email takes you one step closer to feeling.

A free phone consultation allows you to get to know me, and gives you the opportunity to decide if you might like my approach. It also allows me to get to know a little about you and  ensure that you could benefit from working with me. No pressure or obligation. The relationship between you and I is of utmost importance. Therapy will work so much better if you actually want to work with me and feel ready to take the next step. If we are not the right fit, I am happy to share resources with you that might help and then sign post you to somebody else.
